Hello all, from Arizona...

Hello all, from Cochise County in SE Arizona!

I've been watching the public portions of the forum for a few months now - it's been a gold mine of information that I've referenced in assembling a small but growing CD collection, a few books, and videos. I've learned a lot about artists I hadn't heard of previously, and read any number of book and DVD reviews. Thanks very much for (all of) the advice.

Mostly my taste hews more toward "traditional" flamenco - including cante - and extends up through the 1970s or so. I like some newer recordings as well. Some favorites include Pepe y Juan Habichuela and Sabicas.

I read at least one of your topics, long before joining - I think it was on the Encuentro series. Anyway, it was useful to me.
