Very happy to find this forum. I play a little flamenco, but as jazzplayer, on my own way. Improvising without knowing too much of the pola and the compas. Now making a new start and put my companion, the flamenco guitar book of Mariano Cordoba again on my table. Also looked around a little in this forum and been very impressed by the knowledge. I used to play a Joan Cashimira that I bought from the luthier in 2000 and since some time I have a Gerundino, very inspiring instrument.

Hi Peter, and flaco
Nice to find other flamenco lovers in the nearness. Always loved flamenco but also other music : classical, I played some concerts with orchestra some 25 years ago, still have the Masuru Kohno. Play mainly jazz now, with Barney Kessel in mind and also Django Reinhardt style. But playing flamenco again brings me back to care of nails: I had almost forgotten the attention needed when opening a car door if there was a concert to play. A broken nail is not what you want. I did find some nice apps for ipad that I use now. Helps me with the compass wich is not automatic yet. But it grows.
