For free!!! Don E. Pohren, for the fr...
on an auction site in Holland I came across the first audition of El Arte flamenco from Don E. Pohren translated in French. L'Art Flameco edition Francaise. I could buy it for a good price and want to make somebody who speaks french a happy guy or girl. The book is pretty rare and from 1962. First print.
I want to raffle ( put it on a lottery) it for somebody who is an afficinado and knows how to read french. I send it for free to the lucky one. One thing, it is not supposed to join, thinking you are very smart and sell it right away to make a profit. I trust you on this...
React on this post. Next week Saturday, 1200 hours local dutch time the Raffle is closed and I put the names in a box and choose one out. I let you know here who is the lucky guy or girl and send you a private mail for your adres.
GOOD LUCK!
Peter.

Gerundino63, c'est une offre très très généreuse que tu as proposé ici.
Je devrais vraiment faire plus pour améliorer mes compétences linguistiques en français et il n'y a aucune chance que je vendrais un trésor de ce genre.

First published in the 1962,it is known more or less as the bible of Flamenco in English. It covers the song styles with lyrics and translation, dancing, singing, guitar playing. It has places to study dance, song & guitar in Spain. Guitar makers and landmark recordings are mentioned. And a lot of beautiful black and white photo's. Very nice insight in the old days of flamenco.

dear peter,
that is a magnanimous gesture. I would like to be part of your lottery. If I would win it would be part of my flamenco Odýsseia. Every time I'm in Spain I try to find and speak to the older folks to find out about the old days first hand. oh, and yes I do speak french fluently. bless you andreas

I´m from Argentina, a Spanish speaking country Suddenly, I felt I wasted my time studying english all tlhese years! jaja
It´s real good to see people like you that enjoy giving culture to people who can enjoy it. I´m tired of seeing all those sad news on the newspapers, but things like this make me feel happy and recharge my faith on people!!!
