Yes they are solid German Spruce top, solid East Indian Rosewood , back and sides. My model is (not the 147MR) but the 146M Flamenco Negra. I restrung it with D'Addario EJ25B strings. This is a premiere guitar, plays beautifully, action is responsive, basses are deep and mellow (remember it is a flamenco negra), trebles are snappy and true, the neck, and body, fit me very well, I am a pleased customer. I did one change with the tuners, I put on a set of Rubners. These are the Rubner's I replaced the cheapo's with.
