Tendonitis and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
I had to take a break from playing guitar seriously over an 8 month period due to pain on the tops of my wrists, forearms and other areas. I also experienced major tingling in my left hand (carpal tune syndrome) I literally tried everything thing; stretching, splinting, not playing up to weeks at a time. Nothing seemed to work. I came across this website called tendonitisexpertdotcom. There you can find literature on how to reverse and eliminate most of the symptoms that keep the serious guitar player from playing due to repetitive strain injury. I would highly recommend anyone who is having issues with their hands to purchase "reversing guitar tendonitis" pdf found on that website. After following the steps in the pdf, my hands felt like new. Joshua Tucker (the author) really knows what he's taking about and should be given a lot more credit then he is currently.
RE: Tendonitis and Carpal Tunnel Syn... (in reply to lukeofgod)
I have focal dystonia for nearly two years now. My right hand ringfinger streches out while the pinky is being pressed with a little bit of tension underneath up to the ringfinger. So playing picado with arpegio combination is very frustrating. Even my very clean fluid quintole tremolo is a horror now, really frustrating. If anyone would have hints I´m able to realize, I´m very thankful.

Hmm...
Are there any exercises for tendonitis located on the tricep area, right above the elbow?
After many years of constant burn and pain, I feel really good now but I don't know what Iam doing right so... some guidance could be helpful.
I have found that deep tissue massage and icing (explained improper detail in the pdf) can help you situation. the pdf on tendonitisexpertdotcom is $20 last time I checked. worth every penny.
