they (Germany) had 1 draw in the cup,but argentina had ALL WINs before the final! True, but look at the scores for all six games each played. Germany scored 17 goals against its opponents, while its opponents only scored four goals against Germany. Argentina scored only 12 goals against its opponents, while its opponents scored five against Argentina. That appears to make Germany dominant, in my opinion, even if Germany did draw with Ghana. And now, to lighten up this agreeably civil discussion a little further, here's something for Bill and any other historians: Epic Soccer-Like Battles of History Brilliant. In any event, I enjoyed this World Cup immensely, and now miss the special treat we indulged every day for a month and the heated discussion each game provoked, before and after. When we were kids, the religious silence that kept every street quiet during the game was then broken by soccer balls hitting the garage doors everywhere, each kid yelling the name of their favorite player to charge his shot, Rivera and Rivelino, Maradona and Zico. Now, instead, we discuss the game, but I feel that the spirit hasn't changed.

(By the way, Bill, saya terlambat datang ke diskusi, tapi... tentang post anda pertama di atas - itu benar, pak! ) Wah! Terima kasih, Pak Estevan. Di mana anda belajar Bahasa Indonesia? Apakah anda tinggal di Indonesia? Jika begitu, di mana anda tinggal? Sebenarnya, olahraga kesukaan saya adalah baseball. Namun, seseorang harus mengawasi World Cup. Bill
