Bernal & Antonio Fernandez

Hi

I'm in Spain at the moment for a holiday. Doing a quick google search I realise that I am a stones throw away from the Valeriano Bernal workshop in Algodonales. I think it would be rude of me not to pop in and look to see if my next guitar is waiting for me there. Are there any thoughts on the current quality / value of these guitars? I did a search earlier and noticed that a frequent poster used to have a deal with the family and resell these guitars and personally test them, but I think this is a while ago. Is there anything that you think I should look out for?

Also, I have a second question. About a year ago I bought an Antonio Fernandez F1 model guitar in Sevilla. I still love this guitar and the way it sounds but have struggled to find any details on the luthier or where this was made. I haven't seen any other Antonio Fernandez guitars until today when I was in a music shop in Ronda (model 580). It was much cheaper than I paid for mine but I could tell by playing it that it didn't have the same quality (sound and playability) as my F1. Does anyone have any info on this luthier as frequent google searches over the last year haven't given me any decent leads.

Thanks
Stuart

Cheers Morante. I had noticed that Jerónimo Pérez was here as well. I'm likely to be very spoilt for choice.
