Flamenco Guitar Books

Updated list - only 3 books left.

Hello Everybody,

I'm selling my flamenco guitar books because I have digital copies and no longer need them. A lot of the publications being offered here can be found on scribd for free. As a side note, I didn't upload the books being offered here to scribd as I only upload out-of-print books. If you are a musician on a tight budget I'll consider giving you a book for free but you'll have to do a good job convincing me. I was willing to donate this collection to the Detroit Public Library on the condition that they wouldn't sell them but they didn't agree. More important than the money is someone using these books, they weren't meant to sit around doing nothing. Here's the list:

The Flamenco Guitar Basic Techniques - Juan Serrano - Standard Notation and tab. plus CD, $10.00
Toques Flamencos - Paco Pena - Standard Notation & Tab. plus CD, $15.00
The exciting sounds of flamenco Vol. 2 - Juan Martin- Standard Notation & Tab, $8.00

The last 2 books in the list are out-of-print and can be downloaded from scribd for free. Shipping is included with the purchase price. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Paco Peña’s Flamenco Music is the transcriptions by Ad Rooymans, right?

I think that’s long out of print too, and quite rare.

They’re good transcriptions.

Paco Pena's Flamenco Music book is transcriptions by Ad Rooymans. The book was actually available by Bladmuziekshop in Holland until about a year ago. The work now appears to be out-of-print. The transcriptions are very good, complaints some people have is that the music is in standard notation only. I'm going to search the web, if I can't find a copy for sale anywhere I'm going to upload a digital copy to scribd.
