Hello, after enquiring about finger picks for flamenco it has been suggested to me that the best thing to do is to use just cyanacrylate nail glue.
Can you share your experience how you go about coating the nail?
How do you protect the surrounding skin (nail bed, cuticles, hyponychium etc.)?
I could imagine glueing nail and skin together could cause some serious problems when the nail grows.
best Robert

THere are no problems, the glue on the skin will flake off in some hours as you shed skin cells. tHe glue on the nail however will not flake off for about a week. More likely your playing will wear it down and you will need to apply more before that happens. No need to scrape the stuff off either the skin or the nail, it falls off naturally. THe instinct is to scrape it off trust me...just leave it and apply more coats over top of what is left.
