Yeah, I used to work with one. He ate a lot of Kentucky Fried Chicken and wore the same jeans everyday. Nice guy, but I wouldn't want to be on his bad side

Modern man with that huge population ( = potential encounters / wittness) and all of mobility and technological means can find no Sasquatch and no Big Foot; but the latter are supposed to finding each other for mating & reproduction?!

Other than in the difficult to access deep sea I don´t recall discovery of any new species larger than a small house cat. And that seems for a reason. We are about to providing as much of our vegetating heads as it has forest trees out there.
So, behind which gaunt bush should there any unknown species be hiding?

And how would a species more sparce in numbers than genetically required for the limit for higher developed species to survive, prevent joining the 150 species that extinct daily from nuts menkind´s behaviour?

Maybe the actual unlikeliness being what inspires some to carve large footprints from boards and use them to leave traces in the swamps. They maybe only wished the earth was still untouched enough to have 2 meter tall and hairy guys running around undiscovered.

What makes you convinced?

Hi Ruphus

'What makes you convinced? '

Dr Jeff Meldrum puts up a strong case as does Lloyd Pye in his lecture 'Everything you know is wrong', then there's lots of eye witness testimony and of course the articulated footprints with dermal ridges etc.

Interesting point El Kiko. I've been up there to have a look but no joy so far.
Every time I've been to Cork it's rained but I'm sure the sun shines sometimes and it's glorious.
I have no personal experience of that but happy to take your word....

There are just loads of examples of early forms of musical notation that predate the invention of the keyboard. And a wealth of scholarly texts available tracking it's development.

So when we discussed it you didn't need to take my word, you could have researched sources.

Anyway a guy in Canada told me that letters did not exist before typewriters. I like him, he speaks to my gut. I mean my handwriting is terrible, letters are for typewriters, obviously.

Hi Jim,

I think to recall a demo reproduction of such with humble means. It must have been something like taking a normal footprint, filling it with something like alginat so that it may expand when watered, and when enlarged taking a footprint and then a stable positive of silicon or whatever which then shall do for producing quality foot marks.

Are you trolling this one by as you did the World Trade Center hoax? Show us the Loch Ness monster first. The Yeti and Sasquach are out there playing with Nessie....

On a more interesting note, A team of scientists from Japan and the US filmed footage of the giant squid last year. ...and if these Sasquatch beings actually exits, I prefer to leave the bastards alone so they don't get poked and prodded or chased around in their private lives by a bunch of media Ass-holes.

I have a friend who is a merman (he doesn't post here). He told me that the giant squid had been common knowledge amongst his people for generations. However the (UBC) Underwater Broadcasting Corporation had refused to transmit any of the footage.

It is now understood that a vast library of footage had been taken on the now ubiquitous underwater iPhone and is in the hands of the UBC. When I asked a UBC operative, in an undercover operation, why this footage had not been broadcast he looked into my eyes searchingly for a moment and then said slowly and from memory.

'It is the stated purpose of the UBC to stifle wonder and hope'

'But ...but .... why ???.' I asked

Ignoring me he stood up and straightened his trenchcoat, absentmindedly tucked in an exposed tentacle, and put on his fedora.

'WWWHHYYYY ????'

He paused then at the doorway and without looking back said softly

'Go to the mall, not the big one, the other one, find the woman with the crystals.....she knows.'

THey build the condes. But nobody really ever seen one do it.

HOnestly I saw a serious study of it and the majority of scientist had not enough evidence to say yes or no. Except on guy was convinced. I thought he was convincing. He was a finger print expert...but not the kind for police. He studied and was an expert of PRIMATE finger prints. He could tell any kind of monkey or ape from the foot or finger prints. He analyzed many samples of Big foot prints and came to the conclusion that Big foot was INFACT a large Ape like primate (unlike monkey or chimp or human, but apelike) and very real in limited numbers roaming North American Wilderness.

The differences in the printing was varied enough to suggest they were not from a single animal (hoaxer), and the similarity consistent with the fact it was a SINGLE species. He admitted the only way this sampling could have been a hoax, is if the hoaxer(s) had as much skill and knowledge of primate finger prints as himself.

Of course nobody will accept this thing until they find remains.

Interesting.

I would think for fingerprints ( of toes I suppose ) you would need either a very smooth surface of the kind hardly found in nature, unless with shattered flint alike ... or fine loam.
In the one or two documentaries that me recalls, footprints were merely from common swamp / forest ground with rarely a tiny part of raw soil bared from beneath the turf.
Certainly not a single print on anything homogenous enough to capture fingerprints.

Have there been plenty new findings lately, or have I been missing out on old details?

Ruphus

PS:
And one question:
If there have been so many footprints found should there not at least at times some hair been stuck?
Hair seems a pretty reliable indicaator for species determination. Right?

Did you know that these days your DNA can be tracked if you just stay in a room for longer than a couple seconds / breaths?

So, I speculate ... even when there be no hair there may be enough epithel scales ... which would probably roughly remain in place even after rain ...

well thats a good enough theory as anyone else has ...

I do like the faithful people who just believe believe believe and avoid any logical supposition ,, or thought because believing is more fun .... go for it I say ...

just ignore the fact that there is a total lack of any physical evidence whatsoever ....but sure that doesnt mean anything ..believe ........even when there was , still is , huge rewards for finding one , and the latest tech went in to get these rewards ... nothing ... oh dear ,, still believe its more fun ...

Or that the animal itself is huge , like what 9 ft maybe ?? and there must be a fair few of them for breeding alone ...i dont know how many and they all gotta eat and fit into the food chain somewhere .. thats gotta leave a few marks in nature ... still

yup pretty big to get away unnoticed all the time ...then theres the remains ,, or fossils and bones , and well everything really ..Bigfoot dumps .. phew.. but believe
Which just leaves that there were no bigfoot reports as such over there until the 1950's sometme .. wierd really that they just appeared after the photo thing happened , but before that nothing ...i

ah well ... believe ...

So they build condes eh ? .. excellent .. can i order one ? I totally believe they make good ones ..

It was years ago. Just for you I looked for a debunking, and I think because it's not headline news today, since 2006 the finger print patttern thing is not taken seriously.

Ruphus,

Check out Dr Melba Ketchum interviews on YouTube.
DNA results that establishment won't take seriously so she had to go to the lengths of publishing her own pier review (as odd as that seems) but still being debunked.

RE: Sasquatch (in reply to Ricardo

Ricardo,

Yes, I saw that documentary also.
The finger print expert was in fact a police print specialist who also studied primate print patterns.
That's why he was brought in and such a credible witness.

I raised this a a genuine thread because it seemed like a good opportunity to ask if anyone in the US or Canada had actually seen a Sasquatch or perhaps had any encounters/personal story's.

Hi Ricardo,

Thank your for checking that out!
( - With the lame connex that I am online with most times browsing makes you want to be knitting a pullover besides.)

John,

I like the handwriting in that graph.
But seriously now: Looking at your avatar ... Shouldn´t decent chaps see a hairdresser at least from time to time?

Sincere effort for stylish outfit should at least make for a comb; no!? - Or one could maybe wear a bolwer hat .... |OP
Just felt like being essential.

RE: Sasquatch (in reply to guitarbuddha

I can only guess that the UBC/Apple/NSA have control of the underwater phone market (obviously through Defraction, a moist offshoot of Prism) that has lead to the automated defocussing/blurring of all photographs of giant squid/big foot/Sasquatch etc much in the same way that all photographs in our realm prior to 2000 looked like they were drawn by a 5 year old after a bad night on the beer.
Fortunately we are not constrained by Defraction and armed with our 20 megapixel "phones" can capture reality in all it's mundane (but in focus) glory

As for my avatar's hair (beaker from the muppets, in case you are were not aware!), it is much nicer than my own

But can a phone capture fantasy ?

We need phones that can capture dreams. We can then investigate their mysteries. And leave politicians and multinational companies in peace to go about their altruistic business.
