You obviously know nothing about Guinness. Try it sometime in Dublin or in the West of Ireland.

In the 80ties i once attended a free "promotional concert" by Clannad. Since they hardly ever gave concerts over here many (if not all) Dutch fans showed up. As it turned out it happened to be a future commercial for Guinness including Clannad and a life audience. After a long delay (every visitor first had to sign an agreement not to record the event or to reveal anything that was going to happen) things finally started to happen...well, sort of. Main goal of the meeting (not mentioned in the add) was recording a little tune for the commercial and that turned out to be a little more complex than expected. Despite the fact the tune was extremely short and simple (something like lalaLa-,Lala...., lalaLa-Lala,.... La-La....., La-La.....) it went wrong time after time. After 1 hour of failed attempts part of the audience trowed in the towel en left. The ones that stayed had to suffer many more "cuts" and gradually more and more people left the building. Since empty seats were not the kind of promotion Guinness had in mind the remaining participants had to change seats a couple of time in order to suggest a full house. After 2 hours of struggle Clannad decided to trow in the towel them self (in order not to loose all there Dutch fans in one night) and finally gave the concert that was promised in the add.

I Guess Guinness destiled an alternative commercial based on the general reaction of that night (perhaps based on/starring some last survivors that found them self some alternative time passing?) ...... speaking about Beer Pornography.

Awwww, you can't blame Guiness for that. Sounds like Clannad should have thought it through better.....

I love Guiness, it's one of those things that makes me super proud to have Irish grandparents.... Guiness go brach! lol

True, but Guinness was the one luring fans by promising a (promotion) concert, they were the one causing a delay (=artistic disturbance) of 1 hour by demanding written statements of secrecy of each visitor and although Clannad made a lot of mistakes, so did the recording team (light/camera etc). Guinness should have thought it through a little better as well.

Beer nerds!!! I feel any beer tastes ok if it is cold enough. as it warms up then we notice some problems. People like to talk smack about popular beers like Corona or Bud light etc, cuz they are "light"....everyone too scared to talk smack about dark beers like Guinness, which tastes equally ****ty if it is warm. Tastes like burnt toast. Anyway, I like Hoegaarden.

This is true most of the time and with most beers. Specially in sommer.

However, in winter when its really cold, one of the best beer experiences i always have, is to drink this , with normal temperature (of course not warm .. but not really ice cold either)

and only in stone jugs

This is a strong and 'dirty' beer and its only available for few months from October till Christmas.
Its actually not expensive (its from Binding company), but its the best beer i ever tasted in Germany in winter.
Specially together with a tasty hearty meal...or.....simply with mild green Pepperonis.
