No Nails picado!!!!!!!!

Hi, I thought this would be an interesting question to all the guitar players who want to be on a professional level because you never know when you're going to have problems with your nails broken just before a concert, so... Do you practice having your picado as smooth as when you have nails??
I think in terms of sound it's impossible to have the same tone, so my question is focused on accuracy and speed of course...

Every question about nails just brings Miro Simic to mind these days. For me at least.

This is a very unappreciative subject.

I have to enforce my nails every week.
