Mid 60's Conde
I just wanted to share my latest find - thank you Craigslist: Mid 60's Conde Hermanos Student negra,Green label, Pozuelo de Alarcón address. Super clean for it's age. I emailed Conde regarding any history, and received this prompt reply:
"Thank you very much for your email. We are always glad to hear when someone acquires one of our older guitars. Judging from the photos you sent this is a student or studio model equivalent to current model FP15, in Indian rosewood for back and sides and spruce top, and ebony fret board. This iwas not a top of the line guitar but these guitars are famed for their good projection excellent materials and great sound. It was constructed at our facility in Pozuelo de Alarcón in Madrid in mid 60’s and was probably sold directly to a distributor in Mexico."
I purchased it from a guy who's Grandfather purchased it new in Mexico City and had it ever since. He passed and the Grandson was in charge of the estate. Came with the original case, a cejilla, and an "over the neck" strap - like for saxaphones.
Well, there it is - just wanted to share.
