dusting off some of the old stuff, playing redhouse on a manzanero I tell you simply sublime. On to voodoo chile. excuse me while I kiss the sky...............
Man I just did the same thing the other week with an old favorite of mine, Robin Trower's "Too Rolling Stoned" on my Culpepper! I'm not sure I'd say sublime but it was interesting... :)
blood the manz is like a epiphany. I had a spinal treatment this morning which is all valium, morphine and steroids and I came home and was doing baby pls dont go by muddy waters, smoking cigs and having a ball. Im so grateful to be able to do whatever. got to do it until god finally takes it all. I plan on playing the varnish off this thing.
hendrix listened to a lot of stuff and was influenced by a lot of stuff, his song jam at woodstock has a lot of flamenco like runs in it. So at some point Im sure he listened to some and it infleuenced that song. So the cross of the two worlds is possible and imo appropriate. whatever its all fun
Enjoy that wood bro..... its what it was made for and why we got hands! Sure wish I had your positive drive ......you are an example to us all! Respect, peace and best wishes to you Rick. pink
In Jimis last interview he said he had sounds in his head for his next album that he couldnt do on his guitar yet. When the inter viewer asked him what those sounds where like he said a Bach, Flamenco , Muddy Waters , type thing.!
