where to buy strings

i havent bought strings in five years is ther a online store that doesnt kill you in shipping?

rickm--if you read the posts here, at acguitar and at del camp i would bet 99% of the posters have said stringsbymail (sbm) is the best. i would be in that camp. the nice thing is you can buy bass strings separate from trebles--you can mix and match as well as buy multiple basses and save money and time when changing strings (e.g., use 4 sets of bass strings for every set of trebles). this feature alone is worth it. sbm has great prices--a sample of both dealers listed in the post above shows sbm to have lower prices. as to the customer service--it is beyond superb. shipping is a flat $3.99 within the usa.
