It's listed at $699.00!

If I can get it down to $500, I probably will consider buying it.

Thanks for the link!

Kalo,
I don't remember the brand, I don't think it was Alhambra... it was nothing to write home about, though.

Hi Miguel,

I talked to Jeff at Accoustic Vibe yesterday to see if they recieved any new flamenco guitars in stock and he said all that had in stock is Alhambra 10fc!

Though I will call GC and find out about the Raefel De Cordoba today!

Kalo, Kalo, forgive my impetuousness, but slow down! Take a deep breath and slow down! You seem to be thrashing around, as if you were searching for a guitar while on steroids. You have a lifetime of playing guitar ahead of you; you don't need to find one tomorrow. Play your Takemine and save your money to buy one that fits you. Don't follow every lead you get on the Foro or anywhere else. People mean well and they want to help you, but if you check out every post that advises you to check out this Guitar Center or that Guitar Center, or some other venue, you will be spending all your time chasing a mirage. Eventually you will find your guitar, but it will happen when you least expect it and it will surprise you.

Cheers,

Bill

Hey Bill,

I appreciate your advice, and If it seems like I am thrasing around as if I were searching for a guitar on steriods, well, I am not...

I haven't bought anything...This post started with a guy selling a Conde EF5 on my local Craigslist's list.

I posted here to get ideas about this guitar waaaay before I would even see the guitar...

Truthfully, if I were really in a hurry or like I am on steriods, I would of been to the Sellers house with CASH in hand and foolishly buying a potential lemon!

Well, I haven't done it and don't even want to waste my time checking the Conde EF5 out.

Even the link that Keith kindly posted on the Rafael De Cordoba to at GC in New Mexico; I haven't called and the more I think about it, the more I don't want this guitar beause of the crack! It's no different the Conde EF5! It also has a cosemtic crack.

However, I don't think it hurts to ask opinions on certain guitars!

I do appreciate your concern and your help is ALWAYS welcomed

Please accept my apologies, Kalo. I should not make assumptions. But I do hope you eventually find the right guitar for you. I know you will.

Cheers,

Bill

Hey Keith,

I had TWO chances to get an old version of the Yahama Flamenco!

One version was the standard CG-171-SF that GC had in Texas and be time I decieded okay, no harm in having them ship it to AZ, well, they sold it.

The other Yamaha flamenco was the CGX171SFC! The cutaway electric accoustic that was for sale, but, I didn't know if that would be good for me..

So in short I haven't tried them...I have heard the new ones are so great...

What sucks is the standard flat "C" which seems that every flamenco guitar has is uncomfortable for my left hand!

I do think that it kind of sucks to be looking into a hand built flamenco guitar at my level of playing.

As much as I respect all the Luthier on this forum, I don't mind playing on a cheaper flamenco guitar that would be right for my hand...

Even a GK cordoba is starting to look good However, I know the neck is very narrow and forget doing Alzapua on one of those
