Is there anywhere I can see images, photos, etc. illustrating some of the distinctive headstock shapes of the classic builders; Santos, Jose Ramirez, Esteso, etc. etc.

Go to the GSI website www.guitarsalon.com and click on "GSI Museum". Type in the name of the maker whose guitar you want to see in the "Search Museum" box and hit "Enter" on your keyboard. If they've had one over the years it's probably there. Most of the entries also have decent shots of rosettes, labels, etc.

Yes indeed it does. And what a great piece of work that is, compiled by Tony. Lots of very interesting designs in there. I will definitely file that one for future reference.
