without playing the guitars one has to go on materials and reputation. the navarro hands down. the cordoba is made with laminated sycamore whereas the navarro is made from real cypress (monetary or spanish). the navarro has, from the posts i have read, a very good reputation whereas the cordoba has a so-so reputation.

charles, you can buy monetary cypress at the same store that sells royal spanish cypress. the store is located across the street from the store that sells monterey cypress.

My choice would be a Navarro as well just because it is made with better quality. Check out Ramzi a.k.a. Rombsix play the Cordoba he plays AWESOME on the Cordoba!
