I have been to every single show/concert by Compania Azul and all the members in the band are my friends! the last time I saw them was in the Halifax Jazz Festival about a month ago and I took a bunch of very nice pictures of them that they now have on their facebook page

and its lots of fun to hang out with them and get to know them
I just saw this show last night and I have to say it was a very good performance. They played with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra on most of their pieces (the Taranto was without the orchestra). By the looks of things, El Tortuga had his guitar repaired. The highlight for me was certainly the Seguiriya. I found it was the most moving piece of the night (as a Seguiriya should be) and it may have even given me chills.
