I'm looking to upgrade, and downsize, an EV EXL112P with either a QSC K8 or K10. I just want one for now to use with my Bartlett clip-on/Shure SM81 and Baggs Para Acoustic DI. The size and weight of the K8 is very appealing and yet I like the wedge option of the K10. I know they both sound great but I wonder if the K10 sounds enough better to offset the bigger size/weight and push it over the edge. And by the way this kind of set up sounds light years better than ANY acoustic amp imho, even with the EV (it's just too big), and you still have two channels to mix to taste with so much more power and headroom. Thanks guys.

RE: Any experience with QSC K8 or K1... (in reply to Maniates)
I'm looking to get a similar setup. Nate Najar, a jazz player, told me to get the 8's; he said they sound great.
But I'm going for the 10s. You might want to look into RCF 310a as well. The original version got better online reviews than the QSCs. The Mark 3s can be had for around $350 each.
