RE: Remate Scales in Alegrias (in reply to Don Dionisio)
no problem, glad i could help...i just happen to have some of the scales i use in separate palos saved like this from about 9 years ago...from a time when i was gonna do some big project with remates kind of like an encyclopedia for remates for every palo and keys etc scales, alzapua, pulgar etc......that i got bored half way through ...takes more work to find them in tabs and cut them out and organize them and name them than it does to learn and forget them

How right you are, my friend. You could start by self-publishing it for availability here (I'd buy a copy) and then see how much interest you get for it. Anyway, good stuff.

While pulling small bits for educational purpose falls under "fair use" in USA I think he still needs to provide publisher info, and not sure the laws in europe regarding fair use. The chicuelo excerpts for example are on the Encuentro vid and book.
Speaking of encuentro, I had a thought the other day that the value of that series has gone up in my eyes, as we have lost the likes of Moraito and Enrique del Melchor, and Gerardo has changed his technique. Hats off to the encuentro guys for preserving the invaluable teaching of those 3 maestros.

I think the moraito and gerardo one is the best.. for technique and the flamenco swing.
