You want an upload section for begin...

You want an audio/video upload section for beginners and novices? For advice, constructive criticism and support.

I dont think a special upload section is required, specialy labeling one's level, I think audio is audio no matter where it comes from.

I think a " Always wanted to know never had anyone to ask" section would probably be
more usefull to all of us.

I'm a total beginner and I posted an audio The feedback was nothing but encouraging and the analysis incredibly constructive and useful. I tried the suggestions and noticeably benefited. I think to post every month and to use the forum as an online lesson centre would be wrong. But as I think Florian is suggesting "when you have a need " then where can you find a better wealth of responsive talent.

Occassionally you'll get a post that could be miss interpreted but that's life However if you have levels you then become judgemental and I think that could cause problems (IMHO). It is not although there are millions of audios and I listen to them all. As Ron said you can learn from the mistakes as well as the perfection

I also think that all should upload all in the same section.

I think it would be a good idea because then peeps would know instantly the level of player that they will be listening to instead of finding out after they've downloaded the track (which of course can take time). I think it's a good way to save time and resources. One thing though if the beginners do get it, they better start uploading. Peace

And how exactly would you know that? The best guide is invariably in the post if you do not recognise the player.

I think the post above illustrates the oposite of what the guest intended. How do we define beginner? And if we had two levels - beginner and advanced - why not three levels, or the nine levels offered by Juan Martin? And if someone posts in the wrong place do we ban them for a week?

I think the rate of uploads clearly illistrates no great need but if we must have a split could I suggest something like "Original and unusual material" and "Standard teaching materials". Originality deserves credit, this would avoid judgement of level, and I.m interested in how my humble efforts might develop if I had more talent so hearing the top or intermediate guys playing and developing on a theme would be very useful.

And finally Simon, gives us an upload - or has :manana already set in - you lucky fellow

It's tough life in Spain, you never get anything done! I have been working on my technique every day and can feel a post coming on, so watch this space. May even do a video again, 'cos I can

See, the problem has set in even before you actually start the 'beginners' section'. Henrik's intending to post there!
