moraito La guittara 

Hi All,
I'd just like to ask what model Conde Moraito uses and also Capo ,
LOve the Sevillianas on there and well everything else

Hi. I'm assuming your talking about the Encuentro La Guitarra Flamenca video? He's using a Conde 'Felipe V' model brazilian negra. Not sure about the capo though.

Thankyou amigo , Yes its a great vid, Moraito seems a great performer,
I wonder how much these Condes are worth I enjoy the sound, I'll look it up

A Felipe V is very expensive, and remember that Moraito's sound is very much a result of his enourmous nails. I think he uses porcelain nails.. I don't know if you could handle a set of nails like that. I would find it very hard, and it would be impossible for me to build guitars with such a set of claws implanted on my right hand.

But I like his sound as well.

Like Anders said, a large part of Morao's sound is due to his nails and technique. Not so much the guitar. I personally don't like the sound of that particular guitar.

'Felipe V' are highly overpriced in my opinion. If you absolutely want a Conde, stick to the A26 or the A25negra. If you want to BEST negra for the money, look no further than a guitar by Anders. Made by the hands of the man who's name is on the label. Can't say that about Conde.
