Strange--lol. As a seller you are never supposed to send an item until payment has been received. Not sure what the seller can do at this point--esp. if you didn't order it in the first place.

you don't have to send it back , it is free nor oblige to pay for it. if he wants it back , he should pay for the return freight . it is his mistakes or setup ?????

I have not used ebay. How does the seller have access to your postal address without you sending the details to him? And why would you send him the details if you were not interested in purchasing the guitar?
Did you want to purchase the guitar at one point but then changed your mind?

yes I did click Buy It Now..but you got to make payment arrangements with the seller...by few days or so, you get an email from the seller it 's been shipped...no money to the seller but send their item
If you are logged into ebay and are a member, Just one accidental click of "buy it now" is all it takes for the seller to have your postal address?
So is the guitar any good? Do you feel it is worth buying?

So you clicked BUY IT NOW? Then why didn't you tell that in the previous thread and waiste our time? You clicked buy it now means you bought it ! period. If you don't pay, you will receive negative feedback and probably the seller will take legal actions. And i hope that this seller will come after you.
I also waisted my time with buyers like you clicking BUY IT NOW and later don't want the item. WHY DID YOU CLICK IT IF YOU DONT WANT IT?

I agree Arash,
It's sounds like you clicked buy it now, then sent the seller an email with your postal details etc. Then you tried another tomatito guitar at the shop and decided that you would prefer that one instead? That doesn't seem right to me? Is this what happened?

He did say he clicked by " mistake" and now can not get a reply back for his mistake. Instead they ignore and send the guitar in hopes he will keep it anyway and pay for fear since he was looking anyway. Not realizing he is poor guy from Malaysia.... Not a scam reallymbutbfolks need to come clean.
The guitar was meant for you .... You should keep it... But cuz you are too wimpy you must simply RETURN TO SENDER

Can someone who uses ebay please answer this question? When you click "buy it now" and you are logged in, Does it instantly email the seller with you full postal address? Or do you send it in follow up emails.
I find it strange that one accidental click gives away so much info? If it doesn't, then that sorts out if it was an accidental click or not.

Oh well if that's the case,One click no confirm or anything, I guess it's just an honest mistake. I still think you should take the chance and pay for it. Lol

After clicking that it is not enough , you will go to the Confirm purchase , screen and have a chance to review the price , postage and all that ..THEN you have to click agian ...to confirm that you u have bought it for that price ..its not just a one click buy , its a small process...

This is complete rubbish , no one would send a guitar in the hope that they " may keep it and pay anyway ..." and " pay for fear as he was looking anyway ...??? Not realizing he is in Malyaysia even though his address is there and you send the guitar there ...!! as for the last part ..
YOu are contacting the seller , wait till he replies , you can be in contact with E Bay as well. to try to keep things straight....it seems you have made a bit of a mess for your self , but it is not the end of the world ..

kehati--maybe we should start at the top and see if we can get to the bottom of this. 1. did you click the "buy it now" icon? 2. If so, did you click the "confirm to buy" icon? if so, you bought the guitar and owe the seller the money due. 3. are you saying you have sent the seller an inquiry but the seller has not responded? even without being paid?
i am not sure why the seller sent you the guitar without allegedly getting paid but your address is in e-bay if you have a prior purchase through e-bay. i am hard pressed to understand why the seller has not responded to your e-mails unless he has money--you may want to check your credit card and bank just to make sure.
at this point i think the honorable thing to do is to contact the seller and try to clean up this mess.
kmm177--there is a two step process with buy it now or a bid--you get prompted to confirm the bid/buy it now.

If you click BUY IT NOW, you have to confirm in the next step again, ONLY THEN the seller will receive your details and will ship. Normally people don't ship before payment, some do (depending on your feedback). so this seller even trusted you and sent you the guitar.
So this guy CLICKED TWICE.
Seams like he first wanted the guitar and now he changed his mind. Thats why i am saying he is waisting our time.
People like this boy are the nightmare of every ebay member. Buying , then changing his mind. Not paying.

boy i hate to say this but something added up about this situation.
kehati, as i recall from your first few posts (the ones that were not deleted) you are unemployed and your parents support you and your wife. is it possible for your parents to pay for this guitar if you indeed did confirm the "buy it now"? a couple of weeks ago you had put out a request for a guitar costing between $600-$800 and the guitar in question is in that price range. if you indeeded confirmed a "buy it now" purchase it seems the guitar in question meets your price range and you should keep it and pay for it (which i bet has been done).
RE: You know what? The E bay guitar t... (in reply to Guest)
You bought the guitar - the ethically correct thing to do is to pay for it.
A poor second choice is to return it at your own expense and live with the bad karma (and ebay rating) that goes with it. There are no other honourable choices. Keeping it without paying is tantamount to stealing.

So you click buy, then you click confirm. Then you send backing out emails to the guy after he has posted it. Then you say this,
quote:
nope...it must be done in a right way...The seller must be responsible for their product in this case.
IMO that's poor form man. I feel sorry for the guy who's dealing with you.
On a positive note. Judging by the pics alone. There is a chance that the guitar may be reasonably good value for the money. And comparable to one of the cheaper tomatito models.
