Madeira inc is definitely not part of Gilmer, or, as far as I know, associated with Myles in any way. I visited them to look at brazilian RW sets about a year ago. I already had a decent supply of Spanish Cypress at the time, so I was mostly looking at BR. However, I did take a quick look at their cypress. It was of sufficiently-decent quality. One thing I recall, is that grading was not terribly consistent, and several sets had quite a bit of flat-sawn figure in them. Having said that, I recall that they were low on Spanish Cedar, and their current supply may be of more consistent quality now. I hope this is helpful.
