In addition to his career as soloist, Jerome is an active chamber music performer, performing with guitarists Eliot Fisk and Grisha Goryachev. Passionate about developing the guitar’s repertoire, Jerome is not only an active transcriber but also collaborates with contemporary composers. A doctoral candidate at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston under the direction of Eliot Fisk, Jerome’s research interests include improvisation and operatic influences in early nineteenth century guitar music. http://www.jeromemouffe.net Grisha Goryachev, native of St. Petersburg, Russia, is renowned for his extraordinary musical sensitivity and technical virtuosity in both classical and flamenco styles. He is one of the few guitarists in the world reviving the tradition of solo flamenco guitar in a concert setting. Grisha strives to keep alive older flamenco masterpieces that now exist only on records. He creates his own interpretations of these masterpieces using dynamics and tone colors usually associated with classical guitar. Grisha received his Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Musical Arts (dissertation pending) degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, where he studied under Eliot Fisk. http://www.grishaguitar.com
