It's a reliable and safe source, and I have never had any issues with them... however, their service has become very slow lately. They can take quite some time to ship your order. The good side however is that every time they have taken a bit of time to ship, they have always sent me my stuff through FedEx although I have always ordered the lowest normal shipping option, so it has always taken a maximum of 2 days to reach me once it was shipped... in a sense they compensate for their processing time.
www.elflamencovive.es is also a good source. I have not dealt with them online so I cannot comment on that, but I did visit their shop when I was in Madrid and they have a wide selection of books... they had, amongst others, the complete Encuentro series.
thanks avimuno bit reluctant to order through flamenco world as i live in australia...last order took 3 months ...by then i'll be looking for torrents...life is short. but will check the other source, [ http://www.elflamencovive.es/ ] ....much appreciated. [ also a bit cheaper...have sent them an email about shipping] anyone had any shipping experience with la sonanta? maybe strings by mail would be a good source for this series....very quick...might drop them a suggestion note.

Some people here in foro are very disspointed with flamenco-world.com
I recently ordered an encuentro dvd from flamenco-world.com, it didn't arrive, they didn't respond to my email. It wasn't until I opened a dispute in paypal that they finally informed me it was out of print. I'm still waiting for the refund to come through.
ok... just recieved confirmation from http://www.elflamencovive.es/ in stock and on it's way la sonanta responded a few hours later with the item i wanted out of stock but offered to put it away when in stock in a few weeks...... so happy with both responses... thanks for the info everyone...
