Any good flamenco music and DVD shop...
Hola everyone,
I am heading out of Sevilla and back to Madrid for a couple of days this week and was wondering if anyone here has come across a good flamenco music shop in Madrid? Sevilla has been surprisingly poor in such places... the good one it used to have closed a few months ago. I'm just looking to get a few cante CDs (both old and new), some solo guitar musoc and maybe some DVDs.

Deflamenco also has a shop very close to Flamenco Vive I believe.
According to their website it's down towards Atocha now.
Avi, don't overlook FNAC - it has a surprisingly good flamenco section for a big store, and you can get some good deals there. (North off Sol near Corte Ingles).

Hey Estevan,
I have been to both FNAC and Corte Ingles here in Sevilla. Both shops had a surprisingly good flamenco selection... you can find a wide range of stuff there. They currently have a promotion so it's a good time to pick up some CDs... their DVD collection was not very big however... couldn't find Sara Baras' "Mariana Pineda" or any instructional DVDs like the Encuentro series. I guess I'll just order that stuff online.

Hola,
Just wanted to let you guys know that I went to Flamenco Vive in Madrid... it's a great shop! they have an extensive collection of books (instructional and general reads on flamenco) as well as an excellent collection of CDs and DVDs.
