Flamenco Latino hosts Alejandro Granados for a week this May. Flamenco Dance w/ Alejandro Granados at Flamenco Latino 250 West 54th Street, 4th fl (btn 8th & Bway) New York, NY 212-399-8519 SCHEDULE: Thurs, May 19 5:30-6:30pm Advanced Beginner 6:30-7:30pm Intermediate/Advanced (in small studio) Fri, May 20 8-9pm Advanced Beginner 9-10pm Intermediate/Advanced (in small studio) Sat, May 21 1-2pm Advanced Beginner 2-3pm Intermediate/Advanced (in large studio) Sun, May 22 4-5pm Advanced Beginner 5-6pm Intermediate/Advanced (in large studio) --$25 per class-- BIOGRAPHY On stage, Alejandro Granados is evidence of prowess and elegance. A flamenco dancer with a long and solid career who’s firm steps as a professional can only be described as numerous and important contributions. Following are some of those that demonstrate the talent and genius of this great dancer: - Participation in the “Ballet Nacional de España” (Spanish National Ballet). - Performer and choreographer in the company Yoko Komatsubara. - Soloist flamenco dancer with the Farruco family. - Flamenco dancer and choreographer for the show “Noche Flamenca en Nueva York” (Flamenco Night in New York). - Guest artist and choreographer in “Compañia Andaluza de Danza” (Andalusian Dance Company). - Participation in the show “Trilogia” (Trilogy) along side flamenco dancers such as Andres Marin y Rafael Campallo. - Guest artist at the Jerez Festival in the spectacle “Un, dos, tres, Faa” (One, two, three, Faa) directed by Mario Maya. At present Alejandro Granados performs in the production “Los Cuatro Elementos” (The Four Elements) through which he continues to demonstrate the full extent of his talent.
