RE: Has anyone tried these strings? (in reply to TANúñez)
I used Pro Artes with regular clear trebles. My complaint is with the bass strings. I either got a bad batch (entirely possible) or they were some of the worst strings I'd ever tried. They never properly settled, were totally flat in tone (sounded terrible) and just got worse as time went by. Yet the trebles were reasonably fine and sounded pretty good. I dunno, I suspect the two sets i had (bought at the same time) were bad because other folks seem happy with them. I just had a REALLY bad experience with them. I switched to La Bella 2001 series with black trebles and haven't looked back. At any rate, if the black trebles are as good as La Bella's then they might be worth a look (though I for one am sticking with La Bella).

I use them (J50 hard tension black nylon) and LOVE them. They are more ballanced as a set than any of the La Bellas I have tried, and the black trebles still have the same old style flamenco attack as La bella. And for some reason the basses are brighter and punchier than the normal hard tension basses from D'Addario, but that could be my imagination. Could also just be a good batch I got my hands on. Try for your self. Have not tried the normal tension ones (j49?), they are hard to find. Let me know where you pick them up.

Yeah I have ordered from them before but they did not have J50 or J49 before. I see them there now, thanks man. They should advertise them as flamenco strings like everyone else does w/ their black trebles. You should try the hard ones too, they are not too stiff even on my highest action guitar.
