My sister is down in Malaga and will pass Granada as well. She's very much into flamenco (has been dancing flamenco for years). She asked me if I knew where she can catch some good flamenco. I don't know anything! I've still to get down to andalucia myself. :-)
Do you have any tips for her? Kate + local Granada foro folk, do you have any tips for granada. Things that are happening this week or the next?
She's only down for a short vacation, but I know she'd be very happy if she could catch some 'not too touristified' flamenco while she's there.

RE: Flamenco in Malaga and Granada (in reply to mrMagenta)
Right now there is the festival at the Coral de Carbon, some amazing singers and dancers to be seen there, a different show happening every night. For a good juerga with the locals go to the Bulería in the Sacromonte anytime after midnight. A few foro members were there last night till 5 in the morning playing with Juan habichuela nieto. Send me a PM and will give you our contact details to meet up, there is still a gang of foro members hanging out here. So much happening I cant keep up
