This isn't really off topic since its about flamenco. There are some lovely ladies in the flamenco world, Marina is beautiful, Chonchi is divine but I have found my new favorate.
Someone sent me this video this morning and I think I fell in love with India Martinez in 30 seconds flat...

She is not only beautiful, but she has a great voice too. I have both albums. My favourite from her is a Lento Bulerias in Menor, which is called "Pension de la Martinica".

This is the type of cante I like.. with melody in the singing.. I like Jose Merce because there's melody in his singing as well.. A lot of other singing to me sounds like someone screaming without melody in the singing. (please dun crucify me heehee) What type of cante is this? Is this a special sorta singing? Anymore singers sing with melody like this?

I can see she's really beautiful, and has great musicality, but I agree with Ricardo that she doesn't seem to have that strength of voice of some cantaoras. Not sort of smoky and earthy enough for my taste.
But that's just one clip, I shouldn't judge on that alone. So Arash she has two albums??

Is that the way how cante accompanists pick up (flamenco) women? "You have such a nice tuning..." Then i think i know what dance accompanists would say, probably about feet... But i have no clue about solo guitarrists. I mean there is no natural connection between women and solo guitar, except cheesy things like "Spanish Romance"

A little too gentle for my tastes. It sounds like Peter Gabriel Flamenco. Still- she's hot and sings well. Ill give her that.
