Listen the new Cd of Jose Merce

It seems that playing for singer in Buleria has completely change nowadays.
So much jazz harmony with strange chords & weird arpeggios,
almost no rythm or rasgueo strum!
apparently this is THE fashion now…in Spain

I would like to learn to play this new way.
Can any one here tell me who can teach me that?

Thanks

I think it's more of a sales formula than a fashion and more of multiple-guitar recording technique than an actual playing style. In the track you posted, similar chord progressions have been used for years by the Sordera family (Santiago in general) in cantiñas, tangos and bulerías, and maybe Isidro Sanlúcar too. About learning to play that way, I've seen videos of Moraíto and Mercé doing their modern material on television shows, you can probably find something on YouTube.

Its multi tracked...which part do you want?
I also have to disagree with you that "there is almost no rhythm" Its in perfect compas.

Nice. I hope he keeps this style throughout the whole CD. I remember Aire..the first 4-5 tracks were great and the rest sucked balls... Lets see.
