thanks akatune! what was the other site? i think you will overcome your stage fright very soon. especially if you are playing that much. fear is a totally irrational response to performing if you think about it. keep it up and good luck!

it could be. i was anthony on that site.
ive come to realize that bad performances just happen and theyre inevitable. its best to just learn from them so they dont happen again. im curious to hear others experiences with this. for me, one of the worst things is bad sound equipment.
what happened with your performance, if you dont mind sharing? thats really cool that youre starting again.

While living over seas I was invited to play at an informal wedding party. I was really manipulated. I made it clear that I was ok playing for atmosphere, but wasn't ready for performance. well, I show up an theres a huge stage. In my memory it was 50 feet across. Other musicians were semi-pro and teachers. I was pushd on stage and it was just bad. Stopped playing for a year or more, then picked up the electric again. After turning 35 I put it down and went back to the nylon string for good. It's most difficult playing for other musicians becuse I'm afraid they are going to hear every nuance and mistake. So now I'm at intemedate level in Flamenco.
I double checked the lessons website, and it was definitely your first and last name. It was in a post about Alegrias and performing.
