It's official - hottest day recorded...
100 degrees at Heathrow today - about 20 miles from my house and I can assure you it was all of that. Imagine a summer's day in Louisiana with no aircon and you've go it.
I did no playing and no luthiery, just walked the dog through our sub-tropical countryside and swam naked in a stream. Bunch of girls chased me home (dream on).

And then you couldn't run any further....and fell down, whereupon the young beautiful girls proceeded to rip off your clothes and ravage you like an animal!
I think I had that same dream a couple of nights ago....

Michael: Thats why I had to get out of there. Living in Phoenix is like living in an oven. You have to run from the ac in the house to the ac in the car to the ac in your friends house. It gets pretty old quick but its a beautiful place and has a lot more going on at night than colorado does. Stay hydrated JoshH

Ron;
Katy is from Magdalena del Mar, Peru and the climate is mild. When we were living in San Francisco (known for mild weather) one day it was 72. Katy said, “It is too cold”! The next day it was 73, and Katy stated, “It is too warm”! So ever since then I have proclaimed that 72.5 F is the perfect temperature! After all I have the perfect wife!
When you are not used to high temperatures you suffer! My mother is 88 and lives in San Francisco. Most people in San Francisco do not have fans let alone air conditioners! So I feel for those in Europe that are going through these hot days.
My mother said, “I like the cold, as you can always put on a sweater. If it gets too hot you cannot take off your skin and dance around in your bones”!

Ron said,

It was almost 70 here in Scotland...I had actually to take my jumper off!
A note to my fellow Yanks: a jumper is a sweater. A note to Ron: in American usage a jumper is a little girl's dress. I'm assuming that you took off the former. Although, what you wear in the privacy of your own home is your own personal business. Phil
