Cant play for about a week...
So speaking of taking a break, I crashed on my bike the other day and got some road rash on my left ankle. No big deal, just some stitches, but now my ankle is all swollen and I have to keep it elevated. Had it have been my right ankle it would've been fine as i just cross it over my leg anyway. I'm lucky though that I didn't hurt my hand(s).
Oh well, I guess Ill use this time to catch up on some TV! The only crappy part is that my alzapua has been getting really good and I wanted to keep practicing...but thats life. Ive been playing a lot lately and not even log on to this forum much anymore. Ill have to catch up on the gossip!

Vic, was that your bicycle or your friends motorbike?
It is hard to play guitar lying down! A very ackward feeling, but if you prop yourself up it is not so hard.
You will be back in no time, I had plenty of crashes myself. I broke my left hand and then a year later my right hand, both times mountain biking. So it could be a lot worse!!

Hey thanks Chris...no it was a patch of oil on the road on wet morning and I was on my KLR 650 and down I went with a passenger on the back. Hes fine, just some scratches, and Im fine too...but my ankle swelled up and got infected and now Im couch ridden for like 5 days.
I have a scar on my right ankle from my first motorcycle accident which almost killed me in Mexico 6 years ago. I seem to be extremely lucky and stupid! Ill be riding again in no time. But you can bet Ill be watching for oil on the road now.
