Here is a sample of a simple alegrias. I recorded it tonight just to give you a hint of flamenco music from Utah! Guess what ? (see, it's bad, real bad).

Merle: I know you wont believe me but I enjoyed that. Your rasgeaudos are sounding much better and very clean. My fiancee also enjoyed that very much and you should really take that as a compliment because I cant convince her to listen for the five minutes it takes me to make a mix. Keep posting and I guess Ill just have to keep dealing with listening to you.LOL Are you gonna send any of for flamenco buds your cd? JoshH

Is that Alegrias in "A"? Not too shabby, Merle. So quit your bitchin' Your playing is coming along quite nicely. You are going to cause the people on this forum that don't play as well as you to develop a complex.
The other night I had to sit in the hot seat and accompany the singer in the group cante accompaniment class that I'm taking. Me, by myself, accompanying a singer in front of about 12 other guitarists. The fear of making a fool out of myself was greater than my fear of playing in public and I surprised myself (and I think my teacher) by not playing too badly. I know this has nothing to do with your post, but I just has to tell somebody. Phil
