Very good! Payable?

What I think was strange was.... at the airport Madrid... they saw my dunlop-capo in my backpack with screening tool... She asked me what it is and that I have to take it out of my bag.. I told her " Es una cejilla... un capo para la guitarra..." She didn´t understood.. I took it out of my backpack and gave it to her... and said... guitarra..vale? :.D She looked at it as she would hold a high-tech-lasergun from some intergalactic species in her hand. It was very hard for me not to close her wandering open mouth like in the car commercial... That teached me that flamenco or guitar in general is not as known in spain as I thought before.....

I have no Idea about the prices...but I don`t think they are expensive.By they way: Jeronimo Maya as well offers lessons in Cañorotto...I guess that quarter is worth a visit.
Last year I was inveted to a dinner in Mijas with the family of a collegue from work. The father was was very nice till asked him(like I ask everyone I meet), if he plays the guitar. The answer was like: Just because I am Andalusian that doesen`t mean I have to play the guitar.....ok...then I thought I ask if there is some Flamenco going on there....he responded that he is not interessted in such crap...and finished the conversation. I was a little bit surprised.
Some days later at a party were 3 other guitarrists....when I saw the cases I was like Yeah..Flamenco-juerga...but all 3 had.......steelstrigs and we ended up jamming blues and oldies....
Many of the young andalusians I know don`t really care about Flamenco, for them it's like Humptata-music is for you, I guess, some old fashioned mierda...sad, but true...
