golpeadores

Hi: First post on this forum. I am looking for a source of white plastic for tap plates. I need material to be .010 inches thickness. So far I have only found StewMac to have it but much too thick. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Robert in Mendocino, Ca.

look in your local phone book for a vendor of sheet plastics. I used to buy it at a store called "Tap plastics" but I don't know if they're a chain or not. You can buy it in different thicknesses. Cut it to shape with scissors and use spray on adhesive to attach it.

Any tips on where to buy good regular transparent tap plates (in europe)? last time i ordered i got a weird one, transparent but too thick, and not clear enough, it has a weird adhesive pattern.. I feel like replacing it.

Hi John, What thickness should it be and any particular spray on adhesive?

That's kind of hard to answer since some plastics are stiffer and harder than others. We use a polycarbonate 11 mil which seems to be just about perfect. They sell the spray-on adhesive at the plastics vendor. Just tell them what you want it for.
