Keith Floyd gone.

Just heard that the cook Keith Floyd has bit the dust.

Excellent fellow. His programmes always cheered me up immensely.

cheers,

Ron

That's sad. He was a great character. They didn't show his programmes in our area so I only saw a few of them. There was a great one on a fishing boat off the coast of Scotland or somewhere up north, and one in Spain with John Williams as the guest, where Floyd's bicycle had a bottle of wine in place of a pump.

Here's his commentary on a big 'paela':

Yeah Estevan,

I liked the one where he said "....then add about a pint of good beef stock....or if you don't have, then just add water....'Aldershot Stock' as it was known in my Army days...."

He was a one off..

cheers,

Ron
