Ziryab, I was becoming tired of the endless discussion about guitars and strings on Flamenco Teacher and just had to post your Bulerias clip to let folk see that Flamenco Guitar is not about owning the best guitar. Hope you don't mind amigo. (ToddK was very impressed BTW!)

I'm with you on that one. But cross-posting? "Where is flamenco-teacher" says Ziryab, doh! Never mind, it's better here.
Never heard a Jerezano complain about the strings or the guitar that much, They really should have a house guitar in the penas though, like we used to have house darts.
Wished you had used the foroflamenco link to the audio rather than your own, a subtle ploy to attract more members. That's where you found our friend after all. Todd should be impressed, it's not technical, it has trangressed technical, it has feeling.
Love the arabic give-aways. PDL would steal those! I also believe he would rather like the "I have hands too" sentiment.
BTW- Abdullah. Get that bassist playing one note way too high in the mix out of here. Even I could do better than that! It would sound so much sweeter. If you need a bassist, come find me in 20 years as an old man.
Shokran didi! (I hope that is an acceptable sign-off. It's a long time since I was in Arabia)

Realy I am so happy from your message, I am trying to make myself happy by playing Pdl falsetas becouse I started flamenco without a teacher and thats make me so sad and unlucky , I only learning by books,video....ect.,, I don`t know which way that I walk on to be a great flamenco player, is it by playing alot of falsetas in each style "solea, buleria,,,,," until I get the keys to compose alot ? until now I can`t read musical notetion I don`t know musical elements

But Ron I was just about to start a thread about my new "Gerungreendadevoesky Blongra" that has a combination of Sazerez, Luthier and Lisa strings on it. I'm just not happy with the D string, but I have 26 more set of strings to try. I'll keep you posted on each set I try!
I also planed to get a conversation going about "nail glue", but you just took the wind out of me.

Go to Jerez.
Meet up with us in Jerez, next March during the 2 week festival. You will learn of the force, the force of cante, young Skywalker. Then you will be tempted to the dark side of solo guitar, because that is what you know. But that is not the true way. Show you, they will.
Many have gone before you and failed through their own vanity. Dare you make that journey?

Obviously nobody was interested in the rhythm, tone, balance, feeling, and aire of your clip Ziryab. Talking about the price and quality of guitars seems to be the main interest there at the moment... who cares about music when you can compare the A26 to the de Voe etc?? LOL!
