Everyone fancied Noelia. Shes only 17 before you all get your hopes up. Luckily her Dad was there with a big spikey club to fight off the packs of males.
You Old Pervsss.... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call you guys old!!
Actually I think Noelia is 19 (I could be mistaken but I'm almost 100% positive). Still too young for many of us. She is from Salamanca. She brought a friend this year too. I lived there for 3 years and my wife is from there.

Well it will be a couple of years before I will be joining you guys there anyways. and hopefully the spikey club will be worn down by then so it wont hurt so bad.
Also, someone said she had a friend? lol.
anyways, seriously, great stories and pictures. im very jealous. i will be attending this trip some time in the not so distant future no doubt.

but besides that,
she's got great technique and memory too, i dunno how a person could remember the whole choreography carmen taught the group besides all the other stuff the baile people learnt on top of that.
I saw that there was also a girl playing fagot, how sounded that together with the guitars?

After the curso Pimientito drove Annemarie, Hannet (2 coolest Dutch flamenco legends and great friends) and me to Granada. It was a fun trip. Kinda hot.
Matic, are those Dutch girls also on the pictures? And uhhhh, how hot was it
Thank you all for making it perfect, can't wait to see you again in a few months.
It was wonderful to have you in Granada. Do you really mean it you are coming back in a few months. Tempted by Gerardo's Granada Guitar course ? Or to help Harold with his hit list ?
It was great to feel the San Lucar vibe, Matic and Pimiento were seriously in shock on arrival in Granada and still managed to keep it up staying out all night with the flamencos. Matic is adorable and sadly way way too young for me so i just had to mother him instead.
Will write out the recipes for you Matic, let me remember........ pesto rice, tabouleh, hoummus or was it the aubergine dip, oh yes and my simple apple tart. Years of practice living with a veggy has helped the cooking skills.
So glad you enjoyed yourself here, we did too, and Anna Marie is lovely as well, look forward to your next visit.
Oh and please post some cante threads when you have devoured that new book of yours.
Talking of Anna Marie has she joined up for the foro yet ? She was doing the compás classes and they sound brilliant, and made me really want to go next year. I really want to get my compás up to speed. Harold will throw me out the car one of these days for lagging behind and missing beats !!
Unfortunately think I will be in Russia in July next year, with a summer school orchestra for three weeks before we go off on an epic tour of Europe. We are hiring a train as there will be 150 musicians on the tour so we can get from city to city. Sadly Lubjliana is not on the schedule, but Frankfurt, Stockholm, Prague, Budapest, Armenia, Paris, Rome, so many I forget the rest. I'll post about it nearer the time to see if we have any foro members around to meet the train !!!
The good news is that champagne is 2 euros a bottle in Russia, so we shall be stocking up and the tour manager has promised me champagne for breakfast every day to make up for the lousy pay

Both sound tempting! Hmm... after I gain some experience Harold and I could do the 'FaceHit Curso en Granada'. Harold would be the Maestro and I could do the repetition class.
Yes, Annemarie is already on the foro. Lurking! Come on, Annemarie, say hello to us! Or I will start a Word Nerd thread. You won't be able to resist that one.. bwah

So this could be you? Or I saw something which was not there? Or is it because in the Neterlands we call it a Fagot....which is something different in English I suppose
I'm very keen to attend one of the courses in maybe two years or so. I did read a thread a while ago that one doesn't need to speak Spanish all that well to follow ok - is that really so? How much is also the cost of this and is there any other comparable or better courses in you guys opinion?
