Edwina Currie vs Esperanza Fernandez

We were talking about sex appeal in another thread and Ron compared Edwina Currie to Esperanza Fernandez in attempt to suggest that sex appeal was different to being sexy.

He in fact compared this......

The point I was making Pim, is that sex-appeal is not really age related.
Esperanza is no spring chicken at 43
Also it's not just looks, but style, speech, body-language and a certain "je nous se qua".

I'm not a Tory fan by any means, but I think Edwina has got something going for her.

I don't think you'd be disappointed!

Ok...I get your point that a highly inteliigent women in a position of power can have a different sort sex appeal without being a centrefold model but I dont understand why you then compared that to Esperenza Fernandez. This would be like me comparing Anne Snelgrove to Selma Heyek

Maybe its just that I like brunettes then because Nigella lawson definately has sex appeal. Its not as you say about age, but she is smart and looks great. (although the eating ice cream shot was unnecessary)

Pim....I didn't put it together....it came from an article on dieting etc written by a woman.

I used to enjoy Nigella Bites and don’t think it would have the same appeal without her obvious good looks. Here’s the current popular chef in the US Giada De Laurentiis.

Mo was OK though...she never claimed to be a beauty queen or anything.
