There is something inherently encouraging about a “temporary” infirmity, its transient nature. It may be a propitious moment to attempt some flamenco singing, particularly if in pain, spontaneously provoking some deep and persuasive howling of pure lamentation.
You may want to learn a few satisfying pain-relieving cursing&swearing lines in Spanish to keep it exciting…. “ (A-) oi (G) que dolor, (F) que dolor, (E) que dolor necessito el mi pie’ (A-) por favor” is the starting line (on 12): after that, get nasty!!
