Wandering Andalucía!
So my (very very) long-planned return to Andalucía is nigh I'll be in Granada for four weeks at CarmendelasCuevas, and then after that I plan to travel around seeing different towns and cities in the area. I don't know how long, but I have a decent amount of money saved up from all those college jobs and I intend to use it all in Spain, so I guess I'll be around till that runs out
Two questions: first, what are the places to visit? I'm thinking of touring around mostly Andalucía (though I might go up north too) and there's so many places I've heard of and want to finally see.
Second, what's the best way to find places to sleep cheap - hostels?
Third (I know, I only said two, bear with me): what else would y'all recommend??
i will be there from the 7th to the 19th. i have an apartment ready but i´m not sure where it is exactly. somewhere in the middle i´m assuming. i´ll pm you my email.
Kate and others - here's a list of places I was thinking of visiting - are there any which are just boring, or is there anything I should add? I've only been to Sevilla - the rest I've just heard about through flamenco!
If you're going to be on the Costa Tropical on the way to Malaga, check out Stephen Hill - a luthier in La Herradura. A really nice guy and a lovely Spanish coastal town.
I had almost forgotten what fun it was to live in Andalucía during those balmy days (sigh). Glad I have some films to look back on. Anyway, he has moved and appears to have some accomodation too.
