Ron.M -> Fat face, Thin face... (Oct. 11 2007 21:32:38)

I mentioned Glasgow University in another post. It just put me in mind of something. Well, there seems to be a bit of a lull on the Forum just now, so I thought I'd mention an interesting thing I learned at a Photography course there many years ago, that may provide a pastime for bored Forumites. Did you know that everyone has a "fat" face and a "thin" face? It's true! Everyone on the course was amazed! Back then we had to do it by cutting up negatives and using film and developer and chemicals etc, but these days it should be easy using a computer. Get a full face picture of yourself and cut it down the exact middle. Separate the Left half and the Right half. Now, reverse the Left half and join it back again to the original Left half. Do the same with the Right. You should get a "Thin" face version of yourself and a "Fat" face version as well. I thought this must be a well known phenomenon, but I couldn't find it on Google. cheers, Ron
