Probe de mi...[;)] Anyway, just as you were guessing that I am "probably" a great guitar teacher, (you have no idea if I am or not actually), I too was guessing about the connection/evolution of the ACTUAL MEANING OF THE WORD MIJITA, to that of "miga"... my logic being that since a bread crumb is also a "small portion of something" , indeed the smallest portion of what is considered food I think, and can have quite similar sound phonetically, I entertained the possibility of a connection, though said nothing more than "maybe". If we can stop putting folks down for making guesses at the word's evolution and finally agree that in the context of this thread, I gave the proper definition of the word in question. I apologize for the fact (being a guiri payo and worse, an American non native spanish speaking gringo) that I gave the definition before any of the spanish speaking experts were able to pipe in.
