Tom:

Things in the metro-plex have been cooler than usual, no 100+ degree weather this week.

As per the Flamenco-activity just going to class once a week with Michael Stacy, he is a great teacher and player, he has a strong friendship with Miguel Antonio you might know him for his reputation as a player and teacher, he also does tremendous quality repair and restoration work on string instruments. If you happen to come up this way make sure you stop at Cafe Madrid every Monday you will find Michael playing and in some occasions other guitarist and dancers.

I understand you are in San Antonio, beautiful town dear to my heart spend my high school days at TMI (Texas Military Institute), and enjoy a margarita once in a while down at the Riverwalk.

I grew up in Dallas, University Park by SMU college, right down the block on University Blvd. My wife and I moved to San Antonio in 1973 for more attention to a cultural style in the Spanish arts. I played for a lot of dancers back then and got back into guitar building in 1974.

Miguel Antonio bought one of my guitars in the 80's and later sold it to one of his students.....glad to hear he is still in the arts. And I don't know when a trip to Dallas will happen...it is so congested now, that it is a chore for me to drive there.

But I do love Goff burgers. If anything gets me to Dallas it would be their number 4 with 2 sauce. http://goffshamburgers.com/

Mail me a Goff Burger.

Now this topic is finally getting interesting. Yes, send me a Goff burger #4 - the one with chili cheese onions sounds great!

Don't forget the #2 sauce. Best sauce I've ever tasted with the chili, cheese, and onions. And you can't just eat one, with a Pepsi and fries. YeeaaH!

Oh yeah? Can’t touch a New York Nathan’s hot dog! Here's proof that you can't eat just one.

Today for lunch with my wife and two of my daughters:

I had a #4 and my wife a 4 with extra sauce #2.

Fried apple pie to close out the meal.

It was great!

Shredded cheese and chopped onions go on the bottom, then #2 sauce on top, then meat, then chili on top of the meat....right?

That's the way I remember it. I started eating Goff burgers before I learned how to play the guitar, if you can believe that.

You are correct!

I've just started working out with weights again. Give me 90 days and I may be able to make a trip to Dallas for a Goff Burger.

It would be nice to see some of the old gang, plus a flamenco show if its active.
