Some people loved Shane MacGowan, but Vincent Amigo was always my favorite member of the Pogues

Check out the Tabs section, I've uploaded the links to the tab there!

But.... if Vicente stays the course on this Celtic path... he will end up growing a beard and playing his Blanca with the Dubliners...

Why not? Ronnie Drew started as a flamenco guitarist. Spoke fluent Spanish too, according to Paco Peña (they were good friends).

It's like Platform 9 3/4. You have to really believe it's there, then click on a spot in between two other videos.

Manitas de Lata -> RE: New album by Vicente Amigo (Dec. 7 2023 22:28:28)

Seems that to much people dont know european history and his music...

This kind of folk still remains in Spain and Portugal , the Celts were also here , Galizia and north of Portugal , you can here a lot of influence in the music , flutes , pipes , percussion adaptations etc , and not only in that areas , in those countries you can hear in other areas variations .
in those areas have a lot of other skin tone than tropical skin gipsies , some similar and other equals to Celts , i can tell you some places that you can look and see.

Tierra is an awesome fusion record that can transport us to those areas with a twist of flamenco.
Its easier to like when you can relate the sounds that were allready here pre king dinasties , im talkin pre Roman invasions and during Roman invasions , with more precision our origins are a mix of local people with Celts.. excluind some spanish areas that are more ancient and still have strong presence in their dna and culture
So flamenco its not the first popular music , like also fado , they are moorish and other places influencies middle east etc that appear way latter

Resuming this record fell likes home
