Hi crew, i was just at the dance class and got asked to play a segurias. This was great because i know absolutely jack **** about it. SO i played what i knew and the teacher told me how to count it (what a pain in the butt!!!!). So i made it through the class but i need some ammo for the next class. So if someone can help me out with simple pieces/falsetas/escobilla etc that'd be grand. [:)]

Today Im very bored.. I will tab you some basic stuff. And here you can find some nice sig-falsetas of Enri.deMelchor. But if sig. is new for you, you better try the basics first. Just wait a bit. I will post you here a link to the uploadsection. (^_-)

Please tell me, how did the dace-teache explained you to count siguirillas.
I saw many different crazy options how dancers count it...

The only good and best for guitarrist is:
8 (9) 10 (11) 12 (1) (2) 3 (4) (5) 6 (7) You can begin on 7 or 8.


Some dancers counted as follows.But its not good:
1 and 2 and 3 and and 4 and and 5


or
(1) 2 (1) 2 (1) 2 (1) (2) 3 (1) (2) 3 <---thats the worst Ive ever seen.


But in the end its better not to count.

Hi, thanks for the bits. The teacher was counting 1& 2& 3&a 4&a 5&. I started on the 8 and tried that way but i ended up doing it her way which i found easier. I guess, like the rest of the flamenco stuff i know, it's just a matter of doing it till i don't have to count. argh well....one day maybe. It's a very haunting style. i like that [:)][:)][:)]

I came home 10minutes ago. I will post it tomorrow, sorry. I have to tab it first.
And you wanna hear it? ^^ Well.. I buyed a minidisc some weeks ago. But it has a copy protection. I cant put the recorded stuff on the pc via USB. I have to use line out or in. And Im still looking for a software line in recorder for windows. Mine records only mono (So there is only sound on one side. (+_+)??) and the soundquality goes very bad from MD to PC. I dont know where the problem is. Im working on it to fix it.

YES!!^^ You are right Ricardo! A professional guitarrist told me in a workshop the his uncle told him in past that a siguiraya is a gay Bulerias. A bulerias counted from behind. ^^
